Counseling Services

Individual Counseling is a collaborative meeting between a client (you) and a credentialed mental health professional (me).

We meet for 1-hour sessions to explore your present concerns related to mental health, emotional wellbeing, traumatic experiences, patterns of behavior, or relationships.

Individual counseling sessions are available weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Attachment Therapy

Build Healthier, More Secure Relationships

We all struggle with rejection and few of us were given proper skills on how to-do relationships well. Attachment Therapy seeks to fill the social learning gap and help individuals understand the emotional patterns that shape the way we behave and engage in relationships.

Attachment Therapy helps you graduate to the next level of relational health instead of continuing to repeat the same lessons.

The goal is not simply to gain insight into your attachment style. The goal is to develop healthier communication, react differently to emotional triggers, and learn to generate more trust in your relationships and within yourself.

Healing attachment wounds can open the door to more generous connections. When you find more security in yourself and others, you can mask less and feel more.

Parts Work Therapy

Healing the Fragmented Self

In many ways, trauma splinters us. We learn to compartmentalize the parts of us that feel wounded and vulnerable, and separate them from the parts of us that feel alive and well.

Let’s Talk Depression…

Depression is a “part” of us that starts as a seed of disappointment and grows into a mammoth of despair. Depression can feel like a deepening well, or a dark cloak, distancing us from play and desire. Depression can diminish our self-worth and paralyze our will.

Through a combination of evidenced-based interventions referencing Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Attachment Therapy (AT), Parts Work Therapy will help you understand how inner conflicts form and how they endure. The goal of this work is to improve self-management and to feel less miserable.

Healing doesn’t require fighting against yourself.

By approaching your “parts” with intention and insight, you can relieve the hurt while learning to access the power within that you thought was lost.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

A Practical Therapy

Do you find yourself going out of your way to avoid what is important?

Perhaps self-doubt and self-criticism make themselves at home when challenge comes to visit you? Or maybe perfection is a mask you wear to disguise a deep sense of failure?

Rather than waiting for the “right time” to take action, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you engage challenge and respond to life’s tasks and obstacles with more flexibility and focus.

ACT helps you stop struggling and start investing in a life that reflects who you are, and what matters most to you.

Life can feel overwhelming when difficult thoughts, emotions, or past experiences begin to take control of your daily decisions. By learning to commit to purposeful action, you can move towards your goals with more resilience, freedom, and flexibility.
