Clinical Supervision
Turn Learning into Mastery
The Growth Haven provides Board-approved Clinical Supervision for pre-licensed counselors working towards independent licensure.
Our supervision is designed for practitioners who want more than case consultation.
Through a collaborative, reflective, and psychodynamic-informed approach, the supervisee will deepen clinical insight, improve decision-making, and build confidence when working with clients.
Weekly Sessions focus on client and session review. Other topics for discussion may include theory exploration, counselor-client dynamics, areas of specialized practice, and continuing education.
Monthly Reports document direct and indirect client contact hours and supervision hours. Progress is also documented through reflective exercises and skill development.
Quarterly Evaluations: Every three months, the supervisee will complete a skills evaluation. This meeting includes session review, written case conceptualization, and a sample of clinical writing for review.
Supervisees are recommended to participate in three hours of supervision each month. However, the supervision schedule or pacing is determined by the needs of each supervisee.
