Amber Norman is recognized for her specialization in attachment trauma, depression, perfectionism, and high-functioning ADHD. She helps clients understand the deeper patterns that shape their emotions, relationships, and behaviors while equipping them with practical tools for sustainable growth.
Throughout her clinical career, Amber has worked across diverse treatment settings, including residential substance recovery programs, sober living and transitional housing, community mental health agencies serving foster children and families, and private practice. This breadth of experience has shaped her holistic, compassionate approach to helping clients move beyond stability towards deeper life satisfaction.
In addition to her clinical work, Amber has spent six years being “Dr. Norman” — working as a college professor, preparing the next generation of mental health professionals. She has taught courses in counseling theory, relational therapy, addiction counseling, and trauma counseling while providing clinical supervision to counselors-in-training throughout their practicum and internship experiences. Her passion for education enables her to translate theory into practical strategies that foster growth, healing, and professional excellence.

Education & Credentials
Amber Norman earned a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida A & M University.
She is licensed as a Professional Counselor in Georgia (LPC 015787) and as a Mental Health Counselor in Florida (MH 15133), allowing her to serve clients across multiple states while maintaining the highest standards of ethical, evidence-based care.
Amber Norman is a Board-approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS-5631) certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).
